Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 3-4 tbsp ice water
Directions
- Mix the dry ingredients
- Cut butter and shortening into dry mixture, the final texture should be sandy
- Mix the egg and vinegar
- Add egg/vinegar mixture to the dry mixture and incorporate
- Add ice water, 1 tbsp at a time until there is just enough liquid for the crust to hold together
